What career? The relation between a human and the environment is unbreakable, eternal and so strict that not only humanity cannot live outside nature but also, due to human functioning, existence of nature cannot be maintained without the human help in many cases.
Absolwenci kierunku inżynieria środowiska jako specjaliści od ograniczania negatywnego wpływu procesów przemysłowych na środowisko, racjonalnego gospodarowania energią, gospodarki odpadami, czy ochrony powietrza – kształtują i umacniają ten związek ze środowiskiem, pracując w jednostkach badawczo-rozwojowych, w administracji, biurach projektowych i całej gamie przedsiębiorstw, poszukując najkorzystniejszych relacji w układzie człowiek-przemysł-przyroda.
Ponadto mogą ubiegać się o uprawnienia budowlane w ograniczonym zakresie w ramach specjalności konstrukcyjno-budowlanej.

What subject
is worth taking for the baccalaureate?
A modern foreign language and 2 subjects from the following:
- mathematics,
- computer science,
- physics (with astronomy),
- chemistry,
- Polish language,
- biology.
Environmental Engineering
The graduates of the environmental engineering programme, as specialists of limiting the effects of negative industrial impact on the environment, rational management of energy, waste management or air protection, create and reinforce that relation with nature through working in research and development units in administration, design offices and a wide range of companies searching for the most profitable relations within the entity human –industry – nature.
Among the core learning content are:
- mathematics,
- environmental biology with the basics of ecology,
- environmental management,
- air protection,
- water and sewage management and waste management.
The directional content group includes, among others:
- sanitary networks and installations,
- restructuring of devastated areas and spatial information systems,
- technical mechanics,
- strength of materials.
